We searched for a well-lived wooden surface and we found one! Woodalicious has been in our possession for several years and often used during our food photography activities. But we’ve never found the right way to turn this into a food plate. The lived-in appearance of this old wood is beautifully displayed with food photos of, for example, meat dishes, fish or fresh vegetables with lots of greenery. This photography backdrop brings a lot of atmosphere, depth and texture to your food photography. With this photography surface, you get a great surface that fits almost any dish or product. By playing with your lighting you can create a diversity of color shades and atmospheres with this special surface. The food board can also be used perfectly as a background / backdrop for your food photo or product photography. The sample photos clearly show what you can achieve with lighting and post-processing variations with this background!
Lightweight non glare backdrop
The food boards are none glare, lightweight, colourfast and removable. You can obtain them in 90×60 cm or 144×76 cm, so that you can use your food board as a base for food photos from above as well as from front view and bird’s eye view. Various designs are available, from light natural stone to dark weathered wood.

How do you use the foodboards?
You use a Foodboard exactly like any other surface or backdrop in food photography. However, they are much more handy, easier to transport and easy to clean, so a little spill during the photo shoot is no problem! The backdrops are sealed with a non-shiny coating. This way you can enjoy your photography backdrop for an extra long time. The backdrops are not suitable for placing red-hot objects.
