Use the packaging materials in which the Foodboard is supplied for storage and transport. When you store Foodboards, we recommend keeping them upright in a cool, dry place without exposure to direct sunlight, despite the fact that the color fastness is guaranteed for years.

Maintenance & Tips

Our Foodboards are all protected by a matte protective layer to prevent stains and scratches and to make them easy to remove. Most dirt or stains can be removed with a damp, soft (lint-free) cloth. Stubborn stains can in most cases be removed with warm water and a mild washing-up liquid.

During use, make sure that no red-hot objects are placed on the Foodboards, as this can affect the finish. By this we do not mean a plate with hot food, but a pan that comes directly from the fire, a glass of boiling hot water, etc.

Do not use your Foodboard as a cutting board, as this will damage the appearance and finish. Water or liquids can be used on the surface for a short time, but wipe them off when you’re done. Dry the Foodboard thoroughly before putting it away.

Food Safety

Although our Foodboards are sealed to prevent stains, they are not intended to be ‘food safe’. Food placed directly on the Food Board must be thrown away.


All our Foodboards are single-sided and finished on a smooth surface.
